Super quick and easy. Our weaning Spiced Apple Pear Puree is a delicious recipe to introduce cinnamon to your baby.
Whole apple

Method

Peel apple and pear, remove core and cut into quarters. Steam or boil for about 15 minutes until soft.

Blitz with an electric hand whisk / blender or food processor with the cinnamon until smooth.

You can use this puree to make a simple crumble (serves 2 adults and a baby)

170g oats
50g butter (or coconut oil)
3 tbsp maple syrup / fruit syrup

Simply put the puree into the bottom of a dish (10cmx15cm)
Make up a simple crumble mix, by rubbing together 6oz oats, 2oz butter (or coconut oil) and 3 tbsp maple syrup / fruit syrup
Layer the crumble mix on top of the fruit puree and bake for about 15-20 minutes until golden. Enjoy with natural yogurt.
