Method
Preheat the oven to 180°C / 350°F / gas mark 4.
Wash and dry the apples, then score around the circumference using a small, sharp knife. Remove the centre of each apple using an apple corer, then place each one on a small square of tin foil, wrapping it around the bottom half of the apple.
Mix the Gummies, rolled oats and cinnamon (if using) together in a bowl. Fill the centre of each apple halfway with the mixture and pop a small cube of butter on top - do the same for the other apples.
Place the apples in an oven proof dish and bake for around 20 minutes or until they are cooked through. Allow to cool slightly, then cut into quarters or eighths and serve.

If you've made too many, you can freeze stewed apples for up to 6 months in a freezer bag. Only freeze once completely cooled, and remember to defrost thoroughly before serving.
