This mango puree recipe makes a simple and yummy first food for babies. Perfect on its own as a tropical treat, or mixed with other fruits and purees!
Halved pear

Method

Cut mangoes in half using a sharp knife. Using both mango cheeks start to cut lengthways and crosswise, ensuring you do not cut through the skins.

Pop the mango cheeks inside out (pushing the skin side in and cube shapes out) then gently slice off the cubes and discard the skin.

Add all mango cubes to the blender and blend until smooth.

Remove from the blender, and pour the mango puree in to your babies favourite bowl!

This delicious mango puree recipe is also great for creating a mini dip for banana slices. Or for adding a fruity twist to plain yogurt or baked goods. 

The mango puree can be stored in an airtight container in the fridge for up to 3 days and frozen for up to 3 months.
